YOU HUMAN
by Remedios Dorio
Once, you raced to survive
In a cell you entered and stay,
With love your gift of life
First blessing in your mother’s womb.
Nine months more or less,
From her womb you want to go,
In letting you her life in danger,
Becoming a baby you cried so loud.
The World welcome you,
Your growth your parent’s joy,
They dreamed beautiful for you,
To realize they could really not.
You Human, Your life, Your own, You decide,
